Don Bosco Home for Orphans
The Don Bosco Home for orphans, situated behind the famous St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Karachi, Pakistan, is a shelter for young boys. Established in 1937, this orphanage is run by the De La Salle Brothers, a religious congregation of men within the Catholic Church, who live and work, in association with one another, in order to serve the poor through education.
In 2004, the Rotary Club of Karachi Sunset Millennium, (Pakistan & Afghanistan), learnt about this orphanage and on visiting the premises decided to work towards its improvement. The orphanage is open to more donations for uplift of its building premises and facilities.
