“Renovation Project” – Government School
wi-tribe started an initiative of ‘Renovating the Walls’ of a government school thereby striving to improve the overall infrastructure and security measures of the local school bodies.
Students of Government school for boys (IMCB) were given a protective environment to study – work was done on the premises by renovating their outer walls and landscaping in the vicinity.

As tribers, we also feel a strong sense of responsibility towards our surroundings and society, and supporting the less privileged is a basic way of helping the community.
During the holy month of Ramadan, wi-tribe launched an initiative which prompted everyone all over the nation to donate for the needy. wi-tribe succeeded in collecting a handsome amount that was donated to the Edhi Centre, Islamabad. The fund catered to all the essential needs of the deprived people giving them an opportunity to smile.
National Special Education Centre for Hearing Impaired Children
wi-tribe sponsored a ‘Sports Gala’ event that gave a platform to the hearing impaired children helping them showcase their talents. The children expressed their passion towards healthy activities and displayed the high competency level in our country which is yet to be discovered.
LRCA Commission Cup
Sports is something that’s adored by this country, be it a child or an adult. It’s something that keeps on flowing in our blood.
wi-tribe focused its efforts to promoting cricket from the grass route level by arranging a tournament amongst various schools in Lahore city.
An intra-city school cricket competition boosting the energy level of students and giving them a platform to prove their skills. It was indeed a successful event that revealed the latent talent of our youth and their dedication towards the game.
“Save a Life” with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital
wi-tribe being a community centric organization took an initiative in 2014 joining hands with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital to help cancer patients fight the terrible disease by sponsoring their medical expenses and treatment.
wi-tribe with the support from its customers (having donated a portion of their bill amount) helped make a worthy contribution to save the life of a valuable child patient.
Supporting a social cause such as this reiterated wi-tribe’s philosophy on giving back to the community which was also applauded by their customers.
Walk for a cause – “Friends of trees”
It is amazing what a small group of committed people can accomplish to change this world.
“They say that the journey of a hundred miles starts with one small step in the right direction.”
With this spirit, an activity “Friends of Trees” was organized for wi-tribe employees which involved a walk from head office to the Faisal mosque (and planting trees at the venue) letting mother nature know that we care for her gifts.
Tribers participated in this activity whole heartedly. The activity not only focused on promoting employee’s health but also on creating a network of like-minded people; to educate ourselves on the issues of environment and importance of green areas around us. A total of 110 Pine Trees were planted with the kind cooperation of CDA.
Out of School Children School (OSCS)
OSC School started off as an open air class which is now operating under a roof at the Federal Government Girls School in sector F-11, Islamabad – contributed generously by Federal Government School’s authority. OCS Students are educated according to a well-rounded curriculum, which includes both basic education as well as value-addition in terms of hygiene, etiquette and vocational training further enriching their lives.
All 65 students studying at OSC School come from the katchi abadis of Islamabad. Educational supplies from library resources, uniforms and books to lunch are donated by community members. For more on OSC School, please visit www.oscschool.org
Don Bosco Home for Orphans
The Don Bosco Home for orphans, situated behind the famous St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Karachi, Pakistan, is a shelter for young boys. Established in 1937, this orphanage is run by the De La Salle Brothers, a religious congregation of men within the Catholic Church, who live and work, in association with one another, in order to serve the poor through education.
wi-tribe donated recycled school bags to children as a basic need, facilitating their desire to attend school. They are made of panaflex material (or skins) used during campaigns and are stitched as durable, water-proof backpacks, designed to endure tough weather and provide ample storage for books, stationary and snacks.
